Has this happened to anyone else?

Search by company name, product name, charge type, error text, policy number, or the two words support kept repeating. The point is finding whether somebody else hit the same wall before you write yours.

Billing or chargesA price that changed without notice, a fee invented at checkout, a renewal on a card you did not know they still had, an estimate that became a bill. The pattern is almost always the same: the charge is instant and the e…

Support failureChat that ends on transfer. A callback that never comes. The same canned paragraph from three different names, each opening a new case so nobody inherits the history. The complaint is rarely rudeness — it is that the per…

Searchable evidence

The strongest matches on Companies that suck come from the words that appeared in the bill, warning, appeal, support case, policy notice, dashboard, receipt, refund email, or outage update. A useful search can be a company name, an error phrase, a line item, a product name, a region, a case type, or the exact wording a support script kept sending back.

  • Who did it. The company name is the one thing this site cannot infer.
  • The date, and a reference number if you were ever given one.
  • What you tried, in order, and what came back each time.
  • The amount, if money is involved, and whether it is charged, held or lost.

Common threads here include Billing or charges, Account suspension or ban, Support failure, Refunds and returns, Delivery or fulfilment. Searching one concrete phrase usually beats searching only the brand name, because the long-tail wording is how two strangers find out they were handed the same problem.
